Grimoire ("the App") is a D&D 5e character sheet app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

Data We Collect

Grimoire does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information to third parties.

All character data you create in the App (character names, stats, notes, etc.) is stored locally on your device using Core Data. If you have iCloud enabled, this data may be synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit service so your characters are available across your devices. This sync is entirely managed by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data We Do NOT Collect

No account registration or login required
No analytics or tracking SDKs
No advertising identifiers
No crash reporting services
No data sent to our servers (we have none)

iCloud Sync

If you use iCloud, your character data is synced between your devices through Apple's CloudKit. We never have access to this data — it lives in your personal iCloud account. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device's Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.

Children's Privacy

Grimoire does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The App contains no user accounts, no social features, and no data collection of any kind.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
